Today we headed out to Rock Creek Farm about 30 minutes from our house. It was beautiful weather and we had such a fun time. When you drive in, they hand you a little pumpkin knife and you follow the roads through the pumpkin fields and choose a good place to park. There were so many pumpkins, it was amazing. We had so much fun checking them out and choosing the best ones. They were all so nice & so Big! It's a flat rate per pumpkin, so for $20, all the kiddos were able to pick out their own. JP was the official cutter and Daddy was the runner who would take each pumpkin back to the car once we picked it out!
After we decided on the pumpkins we drove over to the main entertainment section where they had, bouncy houses, a hay maze, goats, pigs, sheep, and a baby cow to look at, hayrides and snacks. The kiddos were able to pet some horses and we went on a hayride. Maddi kept saying "The horses are taking me for a ride!"
They had picnic tables under a tent for us to eat the picnic lunch we had packed. I looked at Joe and said, "I'm just impressed we pulled this off.", meaning we got everyone ready & remembered to pack a lunch too! As we were leaving JP said, "This was the best day." It really was pretty great.
Do you like this pumpkin Maddi?
