Banner Day

I think just about anyone could appreciate how proud I was today, not only of myself, but also my kiddos.  But to truly understand, you would have to be a parent of high order multiples.

Over the past 2 years we have had to pretty much shelter them or if we did plan on taking everybody anywhere we would have to figure out ahead of time every possible scenario that could happen and try and be prepared.  As they started to walk, it became much easier to go places.  I have been longing to be able to "go" and "do" like regular families and today we did.  This morning I took all 4 kids to JP's orthodontist appointment, Panera for a treat, over to JP's swim lesson and then to the park ALL BY MYSELF & WITH NO STROLLER!!  The kids did great and I'm looking forward to this being the start of many adventures ahead! (of course, I'm not planning on taking them grocery shopping with me or anything crazy like that yet!) ;-)  But I know I can if want to!

The orthodontist's office thought the kids were so cute, they took a picture of them with JP wearing their logo t-shirt & emailed it to me. (Maddi wasn't handing out the smiles):

Here's a few pics I took on my phone at Panera:

Group shot, they barely fit on my phone screen!

All the kids received stickers and bracelets at the orthodontist.

That bear claw is almost as big as JP's head!

PS- We see the orthodontist again in about 4 months.  We are still waiting for JP to loose his top 2 teeth and then when they come in about 1/2 way we will start figuring out ways to get them to angle over his bottom teeth.

July is Almost Over?!!

Wow, this month has flown by!  Between family reunions, summer activities, my work & the day-to-day craziness that comes from having three 2-yr-olds and a 7-yr-old I am once again trying to get caught up on posting.

The highlight of the month was Joe's family coming for a visit.  Since we have sworn off flying with the trio until they are 4 (that's the magic number in my head when they will become perfect angels & listen all the time!) everyone came out to Colorado.   Joe's parents, and two of his sisters rented a house in Boulder. It was so nice to all be together again.  We spent the week going to Carolyn & Paul's, having everyone over at our house and of course hanging out in Boulder which is always fun.  The kids had so much fun playing with all their cousins and it was so great to see everyone again!
