He Couldn't Be Any Prouder!

Ryan finally managed to pull himself to standing today. He's been able to do it in his crib, but this is the 1st time he did it without falling down or the object he was trying pull himself on moving.

He also said "da-da" today. I was so thrilled to finally hear him talk!

Small Paul on Small JP & Ryan:
A little over 5 years ago I found this cute shirt below at a boutique in New York while on a buying trip. It was a new line of kids clothes by artist Paul Frank called Small Paul. At the time, you couldn't find it anywhere. It took a couple years to make its way to Denver's boutiques and now these days you can find it anywhere from Macy's to Marshalls! While it may not be as unique these days, I think both of my boys look so cute wearing it!

JP & Pa. He obviously liked putting his fingers in his mouth too!

JP had a lot more hair at 11 months than Ryan does!

Music To Your Ears? Maybe Not:
The babies have discovered JP's tape recorder & love it. It cracks me up that Ryan can push the button on the microphone & project his voice!

A Trip to CEC

Our Spring Breaker!

This week JP is on Spring Break. While we didn't take an exciting trip to some warm destination, we have been trying to do some extra fun things with him. Joe took off work yesterday and they headed out to the library & "the fruit sculptures" at the mall. Unfortunately, JP fell running up the ramp to the library & landed right on his face. I'm just so happy he did it after we had the kids pictures taken by a photographer last week!

He also got to go to one of his favorite places yesterday- Chuck E Cheese restaurant. We loaded everyone up and took the babies out for their first experience of CEC. With all the sounds and excitement going on there, it kept them very entertained and everyone had a great time! The best part though was not one person came up and talked to us about having triplets. I think there are so many kids there, we fit right in!

Today we are getting a blizzard. They are predicting between 8-16 inches of snow for Denver. I love these spring snows because it will be 53 degrees on Sat & the snow will linger around just long enough to get some good sledding in tomorrow & water our dry lawn!

Just an update on weights. Last week at the RSV shots I got some 10 month weights on the babies:
Ryan 22lbs, 15 oz ~ Plus he got his 1st tooth last week!
Caitlin 18lbs, 4 oz
Madison 16lbs, 14 oz

Ryan says this is great!

10 Months Old!

These babies love their puffs!
Yes, they eat them right off the floor.

Time just flies around here! I love this stage of babyhood where it seems the kids learn and do new things everyday. This past month we have seen lots of changes. Probably the biggest being food. They are now eating 3 meals a day and we're down to 3 bottles- one when they wake, one midday, and the last right before bed. No more baby food for these guys. They eat almost everything with their hands unless I make them some oatmeal or something they need a spoon to eat. I've tried a couple times to introduce the sippies, but they are not quite there yet, so we will keep working on it.

Ryan learned to crawl this month. This makes him so happy. Caitlin is trying so hard to figure it out now that she watches Ryan get to where he wants to go. She has learned how to scoot up to the toy bin and its fun to watch her get excited when see makes it to all the toys! Maddi is scooting around more too, but I haven't seen her attempt a crawling position yet.

The kids are having fun interacting. We hear big laughs when the think something is funny and big screams when one takes a toy or touches the other. We call Caitlin the class clown because she is often the one trying to shake her head around acting silly and trying to get the others to laugh.

We had to babyproof this weekend. Lowering cribs, putting up gates and moving furniture around. We moved our spare bed out of the basement and it gives us som much more room for the babies to play. Don't worry guests- I'm looking for something nice for you to sleep on. We always welcome anyone who wants to come!!

In other news, JP started Karate a couple of weeks ago and earned his white belt last weekend. Sean & Anne got him the movie Kung Fu Panda for Christmas and he was hooked. It's such a great sport for him as they teach how important listening and discipline are as well as all the punches & kicks!

Rub a Dub Dub, 3 Babies in the Tub!

Caitlin, Ryan & Madison

Today the babies all took their baths together for the 1st time & I am so thrilled. No more making sure the other 2 are happy while I bathe the 3rd! We have these little chairs that sit in the tub that help give the kids some support. I'm not sure how long we'll need them, but it gives me extra confidence to bathe them all together by myself.

They're getting so big!
