We've been working hard to get ready for Christmas & I'm happy to report that things are looking good around here! I've got most of the dishes ready for Wigilia tomorrow night and Christmas Day. I've been busy making kapusta, mushroom soup, peirogis, baking bread and making lasagna. Whew! I actually paid JP $3.00 to clean the basement the other day. If anyone were to see my basement at the time they would know I got the much better end of the bargain!! The trio is all doing great. We did have to see the pediatrician on Monday and found out that Ryan had a ruptured eardrum. That explain a lot about Sunday night! But he's doing much better now and knock on wood, everyone is pretty healthy.
Joe had to travel yesterday and today, but made it home on time despite a snowstorm we're having. It looks like were going to get about 6 inches of snow out of it. Just the perfect amount for a White Christmas! On the way home from the airport, he stopped at Bass Pro Shops to get a line ticket to see Santa. We heard that the waits were long, so as usual we tried to plan ahead. The ticket was for 1 hour and it was just enough time for him to get home, load up all the kids and head back over. They had such a great set up. We've been going for the past couple of years, but this year they made it a much bigger and its been drawing large crowds. They had a snowball room, race cars for the kids to drive, guns (of course), and much more to keep the kids busy. We even stayed and had dinner using the kids eat free tickets we got for having our picture taken. I have to say we all had a great time. I think the snow kept people from going out, so it was nice being able to just go from one activity to another without any waiting. Our wait for Santa was 10 minutes at the most. The kids actually did pretty well. JP went first, so he could talk to Santa and then we did the picture. Madison was not shy at all, she was ready to give the big guy a hug. Caitlin was timid and Ryan started to cry. I think the pictures they took were pretty great, but then we found out they were having printer problems and we had to load everyone up again. I told JP if he did a great smile quickly we could go check everything out. So our picture is a little goofy looking with JP looking a little
too posed. Ryan was still not happy and this time Caitlin did not want to be there either. Oh well, as Joe said, we checked off another thing on our list!
The presents are all wrapped and ready to go. Hopefully Joe & I won't be up too late tomorrow night. I think I'm as excited as JP for Christmas Morning! The trio should be fun to watch as they open things they're sure to love. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday & I'm sure we'll have tons & tons of pictures to share. Merry Christmas!!

Yum!
Bushia's bread:
Nonnie stopped by with lots of great gifts for the kids. The Ruldolph nose was a big hit!
The girls playing dress up in the snow gear:
Not quite as cool as MJ, but the one glove look works for you, Caitlin!
Caitlin at dinner. Madison did have to pigtails in her hair at the beginning of the day, but they lasted about an hour!
Having fun racing cars:
Everytime it would spin past him he would get a huge smile on his face! (obviously the other guy didn't get as excited!))
When can we get out of this stroller?:
Ooo.. Pink Hummers!
I'm a little afraid to know how many germs they picked up at this table. I think I saw them all put toys in their mouths!
