The Big First Grader!
JP started school Wednesday and is thrilled to be a 1st Grader! I put him on the bus and again met it at school like I did last year. What a difference a year makes. No fears in getting on and excitedly running off heading to the 1st grade doors. It was so nice to see him happy and knowing he really didn't need me there. My baby is growing up!
Nana continued to help out with the trio for the remainder of the week. We finally set up their water table outside and the kids had a blast playing. We did learn that we should probably put swimsuits on them next time or just plan on a changing clothes as they did get pretty wet.
Yesterday, we took the kids on a walk to a coffee shop in our neighborhood called Perk & Play. They have toys for the kids to play with and much needed caffeine for the adults. I have been there a few times. The kids starting to be able to focus on toys and play for longer periods of time which is fun for them and a nice outing for me. I don't think I am ready to take the 3 on my own yet, but its a great place or go with Joe or another person.
We were sad that Nana had to go home to South Carolina this morning, but we are excited Daddy will be home this evening. It was great having her here and are looking forward to seeing all my family in FL soon. Well, not really looking that forward to the next plane rides, but it will be worth it for a week on the beach!
