A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

For the second year in a row, we headed up to Rock Creek Farm to pick our own pumpkins.  We went much later this year and have now realized you really do have to go earlier in the month to get the best pick. We still had fun searching around for just the right ones and I think we still found some pretty great ones!

JP was the official cutter.

My cute pumpkins!

Trying to get everyone to smile.

I didn't want to pay to take everyone through the corn maze, so I let the kids walk around a little in the surrounding cornfield.  Worked out just fine and everyone was happy as could be.

After we picked out our pumpkins we went to the little area where they had bouncy houses set up, farm animals to check out & a smaller corn maze.  The kids loved it.

Here's their bounce house craziness in action.
They loved all the animals too.

Singing to the sheep-

Back home with their pumpkins!
