This year Spring Break was pretty much a wash. Within a few days, Ryan, Caitlin & Madison all became sick with fever and coughs followed by colds. I ended up taking them to the pediatrician. We have been so lucky because I think this is the 1st time that they have been to the doctor for an actual sickness in long, long time. JP fought it off for about a week and then he followed up with his ear drum rupturing & a double ear infection. Poor guys. Maddi also developed an ear infection as well.
All this sickness really rocked our world. It was non-stop crying or whining on the Trio's part and many sleepless nights. We even questioned Ryan's mental state at one point because of the uncontrollable fits he was throwing. This was definitely a time that unless you have triplets, you really just couldn't understand. Multiple children being sick at the same time is one thing, but three 2-yr olds all being at the same developmental state and all wanting the same attention and love at the same time was so hard. JP was a breeze in comparison. Luckily everyone is doing much, much better and Joe and I hope we don't have to go through that again any time soon. (well, I guess until preschool starts in the fall!)
JP brought home his Flat Stanley doll he made in class & we tried to capture him doing some fun things. The biggest thing we did this week was introduce JP to the Star Wars movies. Uncle Sean owns them all & lent them to us. Within 9 days, we watched every one. It actually was really neat. We watched them in chronological order with the newer ones first. JP wasn't phased at all when we went back to 1970's film making for the 4th movie.
We didn't take many pictures during the week, but caught a couple of flat Stanley moments JP put in his journal he was keeping for him.
I took JP & Flat Stanley to Sonic Happy Hour for cherry limeade slushies to celebrate the 1st day of Spring Break:

Flat Stanley Sky Dives!
Just a little something JP built one day after school.
